Home Renovations in West Vancouver's Ambleside

December 7th, 2006
So, you've decided to renovate your home.  What next?  According to Mike Holmes, host of HGTV's Holmes on Homes, "the single most important thing you can do to protect your home and your money, is slow down" (MoneySense Dec '06).  Take your time and consider the scope of your project.  After that you will want to decide which contractor is right for your job.  You want someone who is reliable ...

Assignment of Contract of Purchase and Sale

December 6th, 2006
I attended a very informative lecture this morning on the Assignment of Contract of Purchase and Sale.  It was given by Edward L. If you are considering putting your home on the marke ...

The Future

November 20th, 2006

The future has several names.  For the weak, it is the impossible.  For the fainthearted, it is the unknown.  For the thoughtful and valiant, it is the ideal.

Wealth

"Wealth is not without its advantages and the case to the contrary, although it has often been made, has never proved widely persuasive."

Travel Tip

November 8th, 2006

Instead of putting a lock on your luggage, which could send the message that there is something in there that is worth protecting or alternatively could be cut off by airport security, use a key ring instead.  It is not the ultimate in security, but it will deter a thief who wants to grab something out of a suitcase fast.
